About

CAD Youths is a not-for-profit organisation that supports Black and underrepresented youths in Canada who are unemployed or not in school or training. We work to reduce youth unemployment and provide training and support for young people who have been involved in the justice system. Our focus is to address the real challenges behind unemployment and help youths build a stronger future.

We aim to create fair access to jobs, education and opportunities. Our work includes changing mindsets, promoting equality in the workplace and helping employers understand the value of diverse talent. We also provide guidance, workshops and mentoring for ex-offenders, and encourage positive choices that reduce crime and gang involvement in the community.

CAD Youths helps young people gain skills, find work and explore business or apprenticeship pathways. We offer training, partnerships and wraparound support so youths can get a job, keep a job or grow in their chosen career. Join us as we help youths realise their potential and access opportunities that were once out of reach.

Our Impact Areas

Anti-Racism and Multiculturalism Workshop

This program teaches Black youths how to recognise and respond to racism while building cultural awareness. It also provides tools to handle discrimination at school, work and in the community. Participants learn Black history and celebrate the achievements that shape their identity.

Employment and Entrepreneur Support

We help youths access jobs, training and education so they can become independent and break cycles of poverty. Our support includes guidance, resources and skill-building for both employment and entrepreneurship.

Career Guidance & Support

We offer personalised career advice and match participants with jobs that fit their goals. Training and support are tailored to each person’s needs so they can build a strong and confident career plan.
